SETCO, the

Spindle Machine & Service company (SMSI), from Barden/FAG. Pope
manufactures numerous lines of precision spindles and operates
several service centers strategically located across the U.S.
SETCO has fully-equipped, dedicated service centers
that are convenient to major manufacturing areas of the USA, so you can
count on quick turnaround and less downtime. SETCO is proactive and will
visit your facility to review or assist you in recommendations on spindle
selection to reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve machine
quality.
Sugino introduces the Varimec
Servo Selfeeder units. Mechanically fed, electrically controlled drilling
units, provide stepless control of spindle speed and feed rate.
The
Varimec Selfeeder is available in two sizes. The SSV3 has
a 5/16" diameter capacity in steel while the SSV5 has a 3/4" diameter
capacity.
 
Hypenumat's
new LS-400 series Lead Screw Tapper is now available. With 75
ft-lbs of torque, this Lead Screw Tapper offers the same tap capacity as the much larger
LS-500 series.
Cyclo introduces it's newest line of Rotary Dial
Index Drives. The "DT Series" is available in two sizes. The 3400DT comes
standard with a 1/3 HP motor, while the 4800DT is supplied with a 1 HP
motor. Both units come with Cast Iron housings, off the shelf bearings and
cam followers, and are drop in replacements for the Camco 601 and 902 RDM
indexers.
Inter-Lakes Bases introduces
it's new line of tubular steel bases. The B-250 machine base is an
economical multi-purpose model in their standard line of bases.
Also new is the ability to weld stainless steel
bases and top plates. The stainless steel bases can be supplied with a
brushed or polished finish. They can be completely machined to your
prints.
Jorgensen Conveyors introduces the modular High Level
Drum Filtration System. Uning an innovative "Building Block" approach, the
High Level Drum filtration system offers a complete mudular
conveyor-filtration system for ship removal and coolant filtration in CNC
metal cutting machine tool applications.
